On 31 August, the Grand Hall of the D. D. Shostakovich St. Petersburg Academic Philharmonia opens its doors to UMTE first-year students.
Academic mobility: a ticket to a world without borders
Academic mobility is one-semester-long education at a foreign partner university with recognition of learning outcomes. Beyond this formality there is something more deep and meaningful: immersion in a global academic environment, where you have to communicate with representatives of a wide variety of countries and cultures; studying in a new educational environment with innovative approaches to teaching; willingness for continuous development; and perceiving yourself as a part of a larger, interconnected world. This is a great ecosystem of knowledge with no borders.
